Small Christian Communities
Small Christian Communities (SCCs) are our version of bible studies. Here’s some basic information on what the SCCs entail:
Who? Small student-led groups of 5-8 students with similar interests and involvements, such as freshmen, athletes, and Greek students.
What? Gathering together to pray, reflect, and share. Reading and discussing the upcoming Sunday readings and how they apply to our daily lives. Sharing with others about how God has worked through your week.
When? Once a week for about an hour at a time decided upon by your specific SCC.
Where? A comfortable setting such as a group member’s dorm or apartment. Who knows? Maybe you’ll meet on the comfy couches in the Catholic Center.
Why? To experience God’s love through scripture. To foster community and fellowship. To inspire each other to greater faith and an active prayer life.
